Baby Care
Baby Care covers products used in cleaning, changing and routine care. The application should show what the product does, the age or user group it is intended for and the information a caregiver receives with it.
Review is entirely online. Submit product information and supporting documents; there is no fee and no need to send samples.

What belongs in this category
Examples include diaper-changing accessories, grooming tools, bath accessories, wipes and other products intended for ordinary care. The product’s stated use determines its scope. Include each formulation, size or model that you want considered and explain differences between them.
A product used mainly at mealtimes belongs in Feeding & Mealtime. A device with a diagnostic or treatment purpose needs a separate eligibility check.
Ingredients and treatment claims
Medicines and products promoted to diagnose, prevent or treat a disease are outside the standard Baby Care scope. Ask about eligibility before applying if the product carries those claims.
For products with ingredients, provide the complete current label. Statements such as fragrance free, suitable for sensitive skin or tested for a particular effect must be supported by materials relevant to the submitted formulation. The award does not establish that a product is suitable for every child.
Information to prepare
Prepare:
- The exact product name, formulation or model, and the variants included.
- A complete ingredient list or materials description, as appropriate.
- The intended users, use directions, frequency and any stated age limits.
- Clear images of the product and all sides of its packaging.
- Current warnings, precautions and instructions for storage or disposal.
- Cleaning and maintenance instructions for tools or reusable products.
- Evidence for the claims you ask the review to consider.
If a label has recently changed, identify which version is supplied with the product. Do not combine an older ingredient list with a newer product description.

How the information is reviewed
Do the label and directions make the product's purpose and limits clear? A wash product, for example, should distinguish where it is intended to be used from any areas or circumstances the instructions exclude. The review checks that information against the submitted formulation and supporting documents.
Claims are checked against the submitted evidence. Review does not include clinical testing or establish a pediatric recommendation.
Find a product record
Category records show the exact product or formulation recognized, together with the year and current record status. Check those details rather than relying on a brand name or an award image alone.
Submit a Baby Care application
Once the product scope and documents are ready, submit the application online. Applications are accepted throughout the year. Review normally takes about two months after complete materials are confirmed.
