All digital recognition is free
Recognized products receive a digital certificate, permission to use the digital award mark and a public NPF registry record at no charge.
Access to those benefits does not depend on purchasing a recipient package or paying an annual digital license fee. Use remains subject to the correct product scope, award year and mark guidelines.
Physical orders follow a separate process
An authorized recipient may request a quote for a trophy, printed certificate or physical labels after recognition. The request, quote, proof, purchase and fulfillment are handled separately from the application.
Reviewers do not use a recipient’s order history, purchase intentions or order value when assessing a product. An order cannot trigger recognition or alter a decision.
Not ordering, canceling an order, an incomplete payment or a refund has no effect on the award or free digital benefits.
Conflicts and decision responsibility
People involved in assessment or decision-making must disclose a relationship or interest that could affect their work on an application. A disclosed conflict is considered before review is assigned, and the person is removed from the assessment or decision where the conflict requires it.
An authorized decision-maker is responsible for the outcome. The assessment, relevant evidence, decision and any correction are recorded so the basis can be checked.
An applicant should report a specific concern about influence, a relationship or the process rather than attempting to address it through a purchase.
No paid preference
The program does not sell a favorable decision, accelerated recognition, a higher award level or broader product coverage.
Physical purchases do not produce paid placement in the directory or registry. The award year and recognized scope are determined by the approved decision, not by the item ordered.
Questions about the process
If you believe an issued decision contains a factual or procedural error, use the private decision-review route. Identify the error and the submitted material involved.
For a concern about a public record, award-mark use or improper influence, provide the reference and relevant facts through the concern route. Reports are considered before any necessary record or status change; a report alone does not automatically withdraw an award.
Read the applicable rules
The entry rules explain applications, review, decisions and recognition. Physical orders have separate terms covering quotes, proofs, production and delivery.
