Content and intellectual property

The website's text, identification artwork and other program materials belong to NPF or their respective rights holders. You may link to public pages and use the supplied media assets for accurate editorial identification under their stated conditions.

Browsing the site, downloading a public guide or obtaining a media asset does not confer an award or authorize placement of a recipient mark on an unrecognized product. Recipient artwork may be used only within the recorded product scope and mark guidelines.

Submitted information

Submit information you are authorized to provide and identify the product accurately. Do not supply documents, images or claims in a way that conceals a material difference between the evidence and the submitted model.

Protect your private access links. Do not use another organization's application or order service without authority. Public record references are identifiers, not credentials for private services.

Award and registry scope

Recognition concerns the specified product and version, following review of submitted information and supporting documents. Read the current status before making an award statement.

Neither a registry entry nor an award certificate replaces applicable regulatory requirements, a manufacturer's instructions or a reader's consideration of the product's intended use. An award is not a guarantee of suitability for every family or use.

Links to official product information and outside resources help readers check relevant facts. Those sites are operated by their respective organizations, and their information may change independently of the award record.

If a lookup or private service cannot retrieve information, the page provides a retry or help route. A service error is not an award decision and does not establish that a public record is absent.

Prohibited misuse

Do not fabricate a certificate or award reference, misrepresent a product as recognized, alter an award's year or scope, publish another applicant's private material without authority, or attempt to bypass private-service access controls.

Use the concern route for a specific public-record issue. Do not use it to publish unsupported allegations about another organization.

Applicable service terms

Use the entry rules for applications and decisions, the mark guidelines for award artwork, and the order terms for optional physical items. The privacy notice explains the information collected through those services.

Questions and updates

Effective date: October 14, 2026.

The published date identifies this version. A material service change is reflected in the relevant rules and communicated where appropriate to an active applicant, recipient or order contact. An accepted physical order retains its agreed conditions unless a change is agreed.

For a question about these terms, contact the program and identify the service involved. Nothing in these terms removes a right that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
