A skip link provides a route past the main navigation. Keyboard focus identifies the active control, and menus can be operated without a mouse. Page headings follow a reading order, and longer pages provide an “On this page” menu.

Product images include descriptions appropriate to their purpose. Decorative illustrations do not need to interrupt the reading of surrounding information.

Forms and documents

Form fields have visible labels and relevant instructions. Errors identify the field and the correction needed. A saved submission receives a reference; a failed submission is distinguished from a successful one.

Public guides are provided as PDFs alongside the relevant web information. If a document format is difficult to use, request the same information in an accessible alternative and identify the guide.

Display and motion

Layouts adapt to smaller screens and enlarged text. Controls remain distinguishable without relying only on color. The website respects reduced-motion preferences for nonessential animation.

You may use your browser's zoom and text settings. If enlarging a page hides a control or makes a form difficult to complete, include the page URL when reporting the issue.

Get another way to access information

Contact us with the page or document, the information you need and the barrier you encountered. You may describe the device, browser or assistive technology if it helps explain the issue; you do not need to provide a diagnosis or private health information.

Known issues and improvements

The site is checked as content and services change. A file format, browser setting or assistive-technology combination may present a difficulty even when the page works in another setting. Report a specific barrier rather than assuming you must abandon the task.

An accessibility request can ask both for an immediate way to obtain the information and for correction of the underlying page. This statement is not a claim of third-party accessibility certification.

Feedback

Use the accessibility topic on the contact form. Helpful details include the URL, the task, the control or text involved and what happened when you tried to use it. Keep the service reference shown after the message is saved.
