Describe the award accurately
The following description may be used when reporting on the program:
“Mom’s Pick Awards, a program of National Parenting Foundation, recognizes family-related products through review of submitted product information and supporting documents. Applications are accepted online throughout the year without an entry fee or sample requirement. Recognized products receive free digital recognition and a public NPF record.”
When covering a particular product, identify its exact model or version and award year. Do not describe the program as a parent vote, a hands-on testing panel, a medical certification or a government approval.
Official names and assets
Use “Mom’s Pick Awards” for the program and “National Parenting Foundation” for the operator. “ParentingUSA” refers to the foundation's website brand.
The public media package contains official identification artwork and program facts for editorial use. Retain supplied proportions and colors. Receiving media assets does not confer an award or permission to present an unrecognized product as a recipient.
Product and award references
Check a product's public reference before publishing an award statement. The record identifies the brand, model or version, year, scope and status. If a record has been corrected, replaced or withdrawn, use the current information.
Media requests
Tell us your name, publication or outlet, reply email, the subject you are covering and the information requested. Include a deadline if you have one, and identify a product reference when the inquiry concerns a recipient.
Use the contact form's media topic. A request is acknowledged through the service contact route; submitting a deadline does not establish a guaranteed response time.
Official program information
The program's own rules, criteria and public records are the sources for its operation and awards. ParentingUSA provides official foundation information. Third-party coverage does not replace the current product record.
