What belongs in this category
Examples include family organizers, storage products and practical household accessories designed for family use. An application should explain why this is the product’s main category.
Products primarily used for feeding, travel, nursery care, play or reading belong in the corresponding category. If the use spans categories, select the main task and describe the additional functions in the application.
Define the product you are submitting
Give the exact model, dimensions, materials and variants. For a kit or bundle, identify every included item and explain which parts are covered by the instructions.
A photograph showing several products does not make them all part of the application. State the boundaries explicitly, including any compatible accessories sold separately and any age or use restrictions.

How the information is reviewed
The stated household task should be supported by the product information and instructions. Capacity, placement, attachment and other operating limits need to be understandable. Distinguish a documented feature from a claim about how every household will benefit.
Products are considered against the applicable review criteria. Recognition does not create a ranking of all household products or extend to the applicant’s entire range.

The record identifies the product, model, award year and recognized scope. Check those details when an award mark appears on packaging or a product page.

Applications are online, free and accepted throughout the year. A complete application normally takes about two months to review after complete materials are confirmed.
