Prepare the current product details, instructions and supporting evidence. Applications are free and accepted throughout the year. Review is entirely online; no samples are required.
A complete application normally takes about two months to review after the materials are confirmed as complete. Submitting the form does not indicate that a product has received recognition.
Your contact details and authority
Name a contact who can answer questions about the product and its materials. Use an email address you can continue to access during review.
Identify the entity responsible for the application and your role. You must be authorized to submit the product information and arrange any necessary access. The application does not require bank details or a personal identity document.
Online product application
Identify the product
Use the same product name and model or version that appear in the documents. Describe its main task, intended users and markets. Identify included variants in the model or version field or in the use description.
Select the category that best fits the product’s primary use. A category passed from a category page can be changed if needed.
Add materials and supporting evidence
Supply the current instructions, labels, product images and any category-specific documents relevant to the application. For books or digital resources, arrange authorized access to the complete content being considered.
List important claims with a reference to the document, page or link that supports each one. Uploaded review materials remain private. The factual product description proposed for publication is entered separately.
Check the information proposed for publication
If the product is recognized, its public record identifies the approved product, brand, model or version, category, intended users, award year and status. A factual product description and an approved product image may accompany it.
The contact email and uploaded supporting documents are not published in that record. Confirm that the proposed description identifies the product accurately. After recognition, product images are checked and approved for public use separately from the private evidence.
Review and submit
Check the summary, including the product identity, attachments and public information. You can return to a step to correct it before submitting.
Confirm your authority, the accuracy of the materials and your acceptance of the entry rules. No marketing subscription, donation or physical-item purchase is included in these confirmations.
If you need to correct or retry
Field errors identify the item that needs attention. An upload error applies to that file; check the attachment list before continuing.
If submission cannot be completed, keep the form open and follow the retry message. A successful receipt appears only after the application has been saved. Once a reference has been issued, use the application access page rather than starting again to check status.
Your submission receipt
The receipt shows the private application reference once submission is complete. Keep that reference and use the application access page to follow the application or respond to a request for information.
Email delivery is separate from saving the application. If the receipt shows that an email could not be delivered, the application remains saved; check the address or contact application support for help with access.
